Lawrence J. Nemeth, MD

Lawrence J. Nemeth, MD

Dr. Nemeth is one of the founding partners of Buffalo Pediatrics.

A WNY native, he received his undergraduate and medical training at the University of Buffalo. After postgraduate training at the Childrens' Hospital of Philadelphia, he returned to Buffalo as the Chief Resident of Pediatrics.

Following this assignment, he was the Chief of Pediatrics at Dewitt Hospital, Fort Belvoir , Virginia, attaining the rank of Major in the US Army Medical Corps.

Upon returning once more to the area, he served as the director of the Childrens' Hospital Drug abuse program Dharma, and acting Director of Adolescent Medicine.

With his wife Sharon, Dr. Nemeth enjoys traveling, gardening, and cooking.

 


Judith L. Baron-Stone, MD, FAAP

Judith L. Baron-Stone, MD, FAAP

Dr. Baron-Stone graduated from Tufts University and received her medical degree from SUNY Buffalo School Of Medicine. She is a Board Certified pediatrician and an Associate Clinical professor in the Department of Pediatrics.

Dr. Baron-Stone met her husband, Dr. Steven Stone, in medical school. They currently reside in Snyder with their 15 year old Maltese, Bailey. Judy and Steve have proudly raised 3 independent, intelligent, and adventurous daughters, whose combined travels and work have taken them from Kona, HI, Flagstaff, AZ, San Francisco and Los Angeles, CA, Astoria, NY and Valdez, Alaska to Brazil, Ecuador, Peru,Nicaragua, and points in between!

An avid golfer, Dr. Baron-Stone also enjoys reading, gourmet cooking, traveling, and trying to keep track of the whereabouts of her kids.

 


Robert E. Kaplan, MD, FAAP

Robert E. Kaplan, MD, FAAP

Dr. Kaplan grew up on Long Island and received his undergraduate degree from Brown University.

He received his medical training at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine where he is an Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatrics. Dr. Kaplan is a Board Certified Pediatrician. His professional interests include determining optimal pediatric care, teaching and child neurology. Dr. Kaplan and his wife, Jean, live in the City of Buffalo. They have to young adult daughters: Anna and Leah. They have over 20 nieces and nephews and half a dozen great nieces and nephews. They greatly enjoy their wonderfully large extended family. Dr. Kaplan enjoys jazz, politics, and reading.

Dr. Kaplan is a recipient of the Robert S. Berkson, M.D. Memorial Award. "This annual award recognizes outstanding performance in the art of medicine, as a volunteer member of the UB faculty, for excellence in patient care and teaching."

Dr Kaplan states, "One is very fortunate to have a meaningful passion in life. For me it is my family and pediatrics."

 


Pamela V. London, MD, FAAP

Pamela V. London, MD, FAAP

Dr. London is a graduate of Bryn Mawr College and The Medical College of Pennsylvania. She is board certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of The American Academy of Pediatrics. Her professional interests include Sports Medicine, Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics and Epidemiology. Her hobbies include Ironman Triathlons, running marathons, photography, reading, playing with her dog, and spending time with family and friends.

 


Rachel B. Kaufman, MD

Rachel B. Kaufman, MD

Dr. Kaufman is a native of Buffalo who received her undergraduate
degree at Swarthmore College and her medical degree from Jefferson
Medical College. After postgraduate training at the University of
Rochester Golisano Children’s Hospital, she returned to her
home town to practice pediatrics.


Dr. Kaufman lives in Snyder with her adorable rescue dog. Her
interests include knitting, hiking, reading, and home canning.
